Your bees, your data.

What Waggl collects

To make the app work we collect: your account info (name, email, sign-in identifier), your apiary and hive data, your inspection recordings, transcripts, and the structured findings derived from them. We collect device and crash diagnostics so we can fix bugs.

How we use it

Your recordings and findings are used solely to give you the Waggl experience — to transcribe, extract structured findings, surface action items, and let you scroll your apiary's history. We don't sell, lease, or commercially share your data with third parties, full stop.

AI providers

We process recordings through Deepgram (transcription) and Anthropic Claude (structured extraction). These vendors operate under contracts that prohibit them from training models on your data. See their respective DPAs for details.

Sponsor & shop data

If you sponsor a hive or buy honey, we collect the info needed to fulfil the order (name, shipping address, payment processor token). We use Stripe for payments and never store full card numbers.

Your rights

You can export everything, anytime, from the app's account screen. You can delete your account permanently from the same screen — that removes recordings, transcripts, and findings within 30 days from backups too.
